After a thrilling five-set match, Alexander Zvereva defeated Harold Rune to advance to the quarterfinals of the French Open.

In the second set, Zverev broke Rune three times to tie the score, and in the opening game of the dramatic final set, the two exchanged breaks.
At 5-5, Rune came through under intense pressure to save two break points before making his own breakthrough to win the set and grab the lead once more.

However, Zverev struck back once more, winning the tiebreak and requiring a final after being broken while serving for the fourth set.
Riding the wave, Zverev dominated the fifth and broke Rune twice to complete an incredible comeback and triumph.
