Gypsy King lays out his five-fight schedule, with Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua scheduled to square off.

Tyson Fury’s five-fight schedule, which includes two bouts versus British opponent Anthony Joshua, has raised rumors that he may be retiring from boxing.

Unfounded rumors that Fury was thinking of hanging up his gloves were spread due to doubts regarding the validity of the eye ailment that forced the rescheduling of his fight against Oleksandr Usyk for May 18.

However, Fury, who has made multiple retirement threats throughout his professional career, reiterated his resolve to take on Usyk in Riyadh, where the four major world titles would be up for grabs.

Fury hopes to face the Ukrainian again in an undisputed world heavyweight title fight before facing Joshua once or twice more and then facing Francis Ngannou in a rematch.

On Instagram, Fury posted a statement that read, I keep hearing comments of people saying I should retire or I’m going to retire soon or whatever, while displaying sutures above his eye.

I’m not quitting; I have two fights left, once for the undisputed title with Usyk.

When AJ requests a rematch after I give him a first knockout, I’m going to fight him at least once, if not twice. After that, I’ll battle Ngannou once more.

That’s only the beginning. To get you in the mood, here are five bouts. At 35 years old, I am in the prime of my life, and I have no intention of stopping.

In October, Fury (34-0-1, 24KOs) faced Ngannou, who was fighting professionally for the first time, and while he was knocked down, he managed to win by a disputed split-point decision.

Fury was forced to withdraw from the fight less than two weeks before his highly anticipated matchup with Usyk due to a cut above his right eye that he received during sparring and needed “extensive stitching.

The fight between WBC champion Fury and WBA, IBF, and WBO titlist Usyk, which will determine who will be the first undisputed heavyweight champion of the four-belt era, has been rescheduled thanks to effective work by the organizers.
