Breaking news: Anthony Joshua and Trainer Ben Davison engage in rigorous…

For his upcoming fight against Otto Wallin, Anthony Joshua will once again change trainers, this time with Ben Davison, Tyson Fury’s former coach.

Ben Davison, the former coach of Tyson Fury, is supposedly going to train Anthony Joshua for his upcoming battle.

On December 23, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, AJ will fight Otto Wallin as part of a program that also features Deontay Wilder vs. Joseph Parker.

Having prepared Fury to defeat Wallin in 2019, Davison has prior experience with Wallin.

The Swedish heavyweight has only ever lost once before in this match.

Nevertheless, that was the final collaboration between Fury and Davison because the Gypsy King was severely injured and thought to have performed well below par in that match.

He made a change of heart and named SugarHill Steward, who is still his trainer now.

However, Fury and Davison’s split was cordial.

The WBC heavyweight world champion frequently lists Davison as one of the guys who most aided him in his incredible 2018 return. The two had a collaboration lasting two years.

Since then, the trainer has worked with a number of other well-known fighters, such as Leigh Wood, the current WBA featherweight world champion, and Billy Joe Saunders, the former world champion of the WBO super-middleweight class.

Additionally, he assisted in the training camps of Devin Haney, the previous undisputed lightweight world champion.

However, it has come to light in recent weeks that Davison has been collaborating behind the scenes with Joshua.

After losing against Alexander Usyk, AJ flew to the United States to begin training under Derrick James, his new coach.

They have triumphed over Robert Helenius and Jermaine Franklin twice together in 2023.

Still, Joshua has been collaborating with Davison while he’s at home in the United Kingdom.

Additionally, AJ will have Davison, his primary trainer, by his side on December 23 because, according to the Star, he has chosen to train in his own country for the Wallin fight.

However, it’s said that he would collaborate with James once more after that.
