Breaking news: Tyson Fury sends treat message to Anthony Joshua over…

Anthony Joshua receives a letter from Tyson Fury on the British megafight

Joshua and Fury appear to be headed for a collision to end their long-running rivalry, but the world champion has advised his compatriot to hold off.

Anthony Joshua has been told by Tyson Fury to get in line if he wishes to end their long-standing rivalry.

On May 18, Fury will challenge Oleksandr Usyk, the current heavyweight world champion, for the undisputed championship in Saudi Arabia. Boxing’s new ringmaster, Turki Alalshikh, will demand that Fury fight Joshua in the Middle East later this year if Fury prevails. Regardless of the outcome of their rematch next month, Fury has already committed to hold another fight with Usyk.

“Why would you not want a rematch if you are Usyk, who is paid a lot of money to lose against me, but you already have the rematch?” he asked. Unless Turki wants to offer him around £50 million in exchange for him stepping down; however, no one that I know of wants to give up that much money for nothing.

Joshua lost both of his tries at defeating Usyk, who defeated him twice. While the second was at least somewhat closer, the first was a boxing lesson. However, he lost both of them handily, and following the second one, he even threw a little tantrum in the ring. It’s not about him since he lost; he had his chance and blew it. Now it’s my turn and Usyk’s. However, I shall deal with the Joshua sausage twice—once in Saudi Arabia and once here in London—after I have dealt with Usyk twice. Instead of just one, I’ll have two fried sausages sizzling in a skillet.”

Fury withdrew from the February bout against Usyk because to a cut he sustained while practice. Furthermore, he maintains that there is no ill will between them. “For both boxers, it’s strictly business; it’s not personal. Many things are at stake, but neither I nor he hates me,” he said. “As a boxer and a man, I admire him.” Respect for the man and his accomplishments is a must. Good combatant, I face a difficult task ahead of me. However, I have a great deal of faith in my abilities and know I’ll defeat the man.

“Usually, the cruiserweights are found wanting when they try to compete with the big giants. Because size matters so much, you can defeat the ordinary big ones but not the elite huge ones. When he battles me on May 18, he will be found wanting because that is why we have weight divisions. This is my generation, my era, my time, and my destiny. True.
