Tyler Boyd has been in talks about potentially joining the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The NFL Playoffs are currently in the Divisional Round, and this weekend’s games will be thrilling for fans. On the other hand, the Cincinnati Bengals are in full offseason gear as the head office begins to assemble a potential roster for the upcoming campaign.
Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd, two important wide receivers, are set to become free agents in the upcoming weeks. Though we’ve heard a lot about Higgins, will Boyd be back in Queen City for the upcoming season?
The Pittsburgh native’s return to the Steel City has been considered a possible option for this offseason. Following my conversation with Dominic Campbell of Pittsburgh Sports Now, it appears to be a very viable choice.

speculating about the Bengals’ 2024 free agents
Ja’Marr Chase predicts a record-breaking 2024 and urges the Bengals to re-sign Tee Higgins.
Boyd responded as follows to Campbell’s question regarding his thoughts on signing a free agent contract with the Steelers:
“You never know.” Boyd exclaimed, “I adore Coach Tomlin.” He’s arguably one of the most genuine guys in the sports industry. Of course, I was a Pitt player, and I frequently ran into him and spoke with him exclusively about football. His character is more akin to a father figure’s. Although it’s a fantastic relationship, who knows? Who knows? I might complete my career with a one-year contract at the end of my career, even if I decide not to leave after this year.”
Boyd, a native of neighboring Clairton, Pennsylvania, played collegiate football for the Pitt Panthers, where he established multiple program records before being selected in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Bengals. He has been there ever since, although there’s a good chance he’ll be playing for a different squad come season.
The Bengals may play Boyd in black and yellow twice the next season if they are unable to reach a deal for him to return to the group of gifted receivers.
