When Gondrezick’s ex-boyfriend, NBA guard Kevin Porter Jr. of the Houston Rockets, was arrested and charged with hitting and choking her, the story made headlines last year. Gondrezick subsequently refuted the accusations made against Porter to the New York Post.

On October 17, 2023, Godrezick told The Post, “My injuries don’t support any of those claims,” adding that the errors were the fault of the police and the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.

Porter avoided going to jail after striking a plea agreement in the domestic abuse case.
