With the production of the telecast on Tuesday night, ESPN is going all out.
A “WNBA Finals-like” production, featuring “multiple camera angles, including Below and Above the Rim Cam viewing options, roving RF handheld cameras, and player mics,” is being prepared by The Worldwide Leader for Clark’s debut.
The Fever’s season-opening game against the Connecticut Sun will air on ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes and be streamed live on ESPN+ and Disney+.
ESPN’s No. 1 broadcast team of Ryan Ruocco, Rebecca Lobo and Holly Rowe will be on the call.
Half an hour before the 7:30 p.m. ET tipoff, at 7 p.m. ET, WNBA Countdown will make its premiere.
Coverage of the pregame, halftime, and postgame will be handled by LaChina Robinson, Monica McNutt, and Carolyn Peck.
After Clark’s Fever debut, there will be another ESPN telecast featuring the Phoenix Mercury against the Las Vegas Aces.
