Alcaraz, who made his ATP Tour main draw debut in February 2020 at the age of sixteen, has risen quickly to the top of the men’s tennis world and won his first singles championship the following year.

Born in El Palmar, Murcia, Spain on May 5, 2003, rising talent Carlos Alcaraz Garfia was the son of Carlos Alcaraz Gonzalez and Virginia Garfia Escandon. He has two younger brothers, Sergio and Jaime, and an older brother, Alvaro.
According to the official ATP Tour website, Carlos Alcaraz Sr., a former professional tennis player, peaked at No. 963 in the rankings in 1990.
Unsurprisingly, Carlos Alcaraz Sr. began working as the head of the tennis academy at the Real Sociedad Club de Campo de Murcia after his own career came to an end. Young Carlos began playing tennis at the same club as soon as he was old enough to grasp a racket.
