GOOD NEWS:The head coach of Carlos Alcaraz has assigned new players for the……….

Carlos Alcaraz, Andy Roddick, and Andre Agassi in tennis news

Even if Carlos Alcaraz isn’t progressing at the same rate as he was a year ago, he still has the potential to rank among the greatest tennis players in history.

Even though he hasn’t won a match since the Wimbledon final in July, his potential is evident given that he is only 20 years old, has won two Grand Slams, and is ranked No. 1.

Beyond his skill on the tennis court, though, he seems to be a self-aware individual who knows how to respect others. This doesn’t seem to be the result of him just being youthful and probably not yet cynical.

Off the court, he just seems like a cool guy who respects players who are older than him.WATCH: Carlos Alcaraz produces stunning fightback to advance at Queen'sHe actually doesn’t get upset on the court very often (perhaps because he is so accustomed to winning), which is why it surprised me so much last week to see him smash his racket in an Argentina Open semifinal loss to Nicolas Jarry. The Spaniard’s frustration with his play is rare. However, he once again responded to all inquiries respectfully and modestly after the game.

Andre Agassi gives compliments Carlos Alcaraz

During his recent appearance as a guest on the AO Show Podcast, Andre Agassi exclaimed about how impressed he was with Carlos Alcaraz’s ease of being himself when he first met the young Spaniard. Agassi claims that even when viewing him from a distance, Almaraz is incredibly likeable, and in person, his warmth really shines through.

I’m a fan of him just for watching him sort of catch the public’s imagination—I mean, his smile is like it lights you up.
He just seems so genuine, so true, and somewhat older than his years. At twenty, you really shouldn’t be so at ease in your own flesh—I know I wasn’t. However, you can’t tell from observing him whether he’s winning or losing.

It is to be hoped that Alcaraz continues with such a mindset. A person who is naturally hospitable can become somewhat more suspicious in life, especially if they pay attention to all the vitriol on social media. Hopefully, Alcaraz avoids that hazardous area as much as possible.

I got robbed, Andy Roddick!Speaking of poisonous environments, Andy Roddick claimed in a since-deleted post on X that he was robbed in 2006 while attending Davis Cup matches in Russia by a police officer. The report states that in 2006, while we were in Russia for the Davis Cup, I was robbed on the street by a policeman. An actual tale.

I approached and asked, What is your amount of cash? He only responded, Give it to me or go to jail, when I said $300. After I made the payment, he left. Absent feeling.

Roddick released Never go back after it. Heck, not many of us would have. Roddick had no right to respond the way he did.
