2024 NFL Draft: Teams That Could Surprise With First-Round QB: Cowboys
Quarterback is not one of the issues the Cowboys have moving into 2024. That doesn’t mean they couldn’t take the NFL by surprise this year and win in the opening round. Why? It’s that simple: Dak Prescott has one year remaining on his deal, and his return is not guaranteed.
Should negotiations fail, the Cowboys may choose to choose their future quarterback, a move that would be comparable to what the Green Bay Packers did with Aaron Rodgers and Jordan Love. In the event that Dallas wins, they would behind Prescott in the first year and overtake him in 2025.

Henry to the Ravens was one of the biggest free agent signings. But Henry acknowledged that if the Cowboys had been interested, they could have signed him. He even admitted that Dallas was a “perfect scenario” on the podcast “The Pivot.”
Henry added, “They ain’t holla at me at all,” in reference to the Cowboys. “What I hear is all that I know.” My agent and I were speaking. They showed little interest in it. That’s just the way things are. As I previously stated, I plan to remain where I am, and I believe Baltimore was the ideal location.

Latest NFL Mock Draft by Brian Blewis for 2024: Cowboys Trade for Tackle
For the Cowboys, it was always fun to be in the land of mock drafts. In his latest mock draft for the 2024 NFL Draft, Brian Blewis had the Cowboys trade up with the Miami Dolphins to select Georgia offensive tackle Amarius Mims.
The Dolphins sent picks No. 24 and 87 to the Cowboys, who then received pick No. 21. Blewis claims that the action may have been taken out of concern that Mims might be selected by the fierce rival Philadelphia Eagles. They grabbed their guy by jumping the Eagles.
