Jerry Jones owner of the Dallas Cowboys, expressed disappointment in Sunday’s loss to the Packers, but praised his team’s fight and the Packers’ rally from a 14-point deficit in the second half. According to ESPN, the Cowboys
had a record of 180-0 all-time when leading by 14 points through three quarters, and 195-0 when including playoffs.”We let them get back into this thing; it’s something this team will have to overcome,” Jones stated. “I think that it can and when it overcomes it, it will be a better team in the playoffs.”
Jones continued, “But let’s give them a lot of credit.” I understand how disappointing this is for Mike [McCarthy], but every person in that locker room is weary of leaving this game with a loss for us.”
Quarterback Dak Prescott has only played four games since recovering from a shattered right thumb. He has six touchdowns and four interceptions for the season.Kellen Moore, the offensive coordinator, is concerned about the turnover rate. Prescott has thrown three interceptions in his last two games.
“Obviously it’s not something we are trying to have,” Moore told reporters. “I think it’s a balancing act between playing smart and aggressive football. At the same time, Dak has a long history of doing good in the world, which we must be aware of and monitor. Dak has done an excellent job and I believe he will continue to improve in the correct path.”
Prescott had a career-high 37 touchdown passes and 10 interceptions in 16 games last season.
