However, Kidd has now agreed a long-term extension to stay with his current team, with the Mavericks remaining in the NBA playoff series.Dallas Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd has signed a long-term contract deal, committing his future to the NBA organization.
Kidd had been linked with the Los Angeles Lakers, who are looking for a replacement for Darvin Ham, who was fired after a disappointing season.
Dallas won the Southwest Division this season, and they advanced to two postseason series under his leadership.We are thrilled to have Coach Kidd continue to manage our team in the coming years thanks to this well-deserved contract extension,” Mavericks governor Patrick Dumont declared on Monday.
