Lions’ Amon-Ra St. Brown dyes his hair blue in anticipation of the Detroit Lions’ postseason run.
Before the Detroit Lions play the Los Angeles Rams in the playoffs, Amon-Ra St. Brown is filled with pride.
Before making his first postseason trip in his three-year NFL career, the top receiver for the Lions made the decision to dye his hair Honolulu blue.
LAPORTA UPDATE: Tee times for Lions against the Rams are “outside shot.”
The Lions’ 12-5 season, which produced their first division title in thirty years and their first postseason berth in seven years, was largely due to St. Brown. St. Brown, one of the league’s most prolific and reliable receivers, has been a key component of the team’s rebuilding effort since 2021.
Having played in the first three years of his career, he concluded the season with the third-most receptions (315) of any player. Building on his impressive first two seasons as Jared Goff’s primary target, he led the club in 2023–24 and had a career year.
TRAVELING PARTICULARLY?Interviews are pending for Lions assistants who are “very much invested in this team” and in demand for HC positions.
St. Brown, along with teammate Sam LaPorta of Minnesota and Jordan Addison of Minnesota, tied for fourth place in the NFL with 119 receptions (tied for second in the league) for 1,515 yards (third in the league) and 10 touchdowns. St. Brown, who finished close to the top of the league in every significant receiving category, was not selected to the Pro Bowl; he plans to utilize this setback as more incentive for the playoffs.
