Quarterback for the Detroit Lions, James Goff, and swimsuit model for Sports Illustrated, Christen Harper, came to Saint Tropez to attend former Michigan Wolverines signal-caller Wilton Speight’s extravagant wedding.
Goff, 29, had a very eventful offseason as he tied the knot with his fiancée and inked a big, long-term deal extension that put him among the highest-paid quarterbacks in the NFL.
This past week, Speight tied the knot with fashion and travel industry professional Alexa Eshaghian.
After being redshirted in 2014, the former Wolverines signal-caller (2014–17) moved up to quarterback in the following season.
In 2016, Speight, a redshirt sophomore, started 12 games and was named to the Big Ten third team.
Speight had one more year of college eligibility, so he decided to transfer to UCLA for his final season. Regrettably, he only played four games in 2017 before sustaining an injury that ended his season.
Speight signed with the San Francisco 49ers following his undrafted status in 2019. He was released at the final roster cuts, which took place soon before the 2019 season began.
In 2021, Eshaghian told a fashion publication, “There’s a lot more coming! Aside from continuing work with AMJ and Curated NY, as my personal brand continues to grow, I am always thinking of ways to bring my fashion experience and ideas to life through a line of my own. I’ll be focusing on Styledbya more this year, so stay tuned.”
Harper recently tied the knot with Detroit’s well-liked starting quarterback, calling the momentous occasion the “wedding of the century” in a caption for a picture of the ceremony that included acrobats.
