Following an incredible season that saw Everton secure Premier League survival, Sean Dyche expressed his pride in his players and staff.

After navigating a difficult season marked by point deductions, contentious officiating, injuries, and more, the Blues manager issued a statement of vindication.

With three games remaining, Dyche’s team was assured of safety with three wins in a row. Clearly happy with his performance, Dyche cited his points total as proof that he had surmounted obstacles in the past.

Everton defeated Brentford thanks to a goal by Idrissa Gueye in the second half, moving them out of the bottom three. It ended the impasse in a mild game between two teams that had eliminated the risk they faced for the previous seven days.

Everton put a stop to any relegation fears with three victories and three clean sheets during an unforgettable week.

In the press conference following the game, Dyche responded, “It feels very good, coming off all the knocks we have had,” when asked how it felt. This season, we have relied solely on ourselves. No one outside of the club and the fans has contributed as much as the fans have. There has been no favoritism or easy ride provided to us. The criticism continued pouring for everyone involved, including me, so I’m really proud of everyone.

“I have been happy with that, trying to handle and manage things and make sure the players and the staff stayed focused on the literal work at hand, and they have done so. The reason for that is that this job was not pitched to me in the way that it was intended to be.

“They’ve been excellent. We were pushed once again today, players, but the mindset has improved. It is accurate to say that I did predict earlier in the season that if we were consistent, it would pay off. This season, we haven’t been as flexible and haven’t taken as many risks, but we have still managed to find victories. We deserve their victories over the course of the season. especially after they dock you eight points. That is a significant challenge.
