Everton
On July 15, La Gazzetta dello Sport said on page 15 of their print edition that the Toffees have the Denmark international “in their crosshairs.”
Liverpool expressed interest in the 24-year-old last summer [Fabrizio Romano, July 12]; he is currently available for about £25 million.
Journalist Bardell from talkSPORT and Sky Sports cautioned that there would be “risks” in any move, but in the end, he pushed Everton to sign the wideman to compete with their present wing options.
Bardell stated exclusively to Goodison News, “They really only have Dwight McNeil and Jack Harrison in that position.”
Everton needs another offensive option, particularly on the wing. Bringing in someone like Lindstrom from a prestigious club is a good thing, but there are risks involved, of course.
They will consider out wide to be one of the places they want to bolster in the next summer.
“There, they most likely require a few alternative solutions. He is available for a fairly reasonable fee, so I can understand why Sean Dyche could consider making that transfer if funding permits.
Everton to move for Jesper Lindstrom
In addition to Harrison’s return to the team on loan, Sean Dyche has already taken action to add an attacking option during the transfer window with the arrival of Iliman Ndiaye from Marseille.
The Toffees can now focus on adding Lindstrom to their roster so that players like Harrison and McNeil will have competition in the upcoming campaign.
The Napoli star is versatile enough to play on either flank, which might help the team at Goodison Park in the upcoming season.
Dyche might thrive in central midfield as a result of having more freedom and less need to play players like James Garner on the wing.
Whether or whether Dan Friedkin is willing to pay £25 million for a player who isn’t a sure starter will determine whether or not the 24-year-old is acquired.
However, a lot of fans believe that the Toffees should try to go around this agreement.
