With his contract with Everton coming to an end, Dele Alli’s future will be a topic of discussion in the upcoming months. The offensive midfielder left Tottenham in January 2022 in order to complete a move to Goodison Park, where he inked a two-and-a-half year contract.

Sean Dyche’s team must decide what to do with the player, who has only made 13 appearances for the Toffees overall, as they prepare for the 2024–2025 season. Alli was asked about his future in the Sky Sports studio at the beginning of the week while he was a guest on Monday Night Football ahead of Everton’s game against Chelsea. Given that he is still under contract with Everton, he declined to comment in length on the matter.

The 28-year-old clarified, “I think it would be disrespectful to say anything else while I’m here. I’m signed to Everton.” I won’t talk about any of that because they’ve been amazing and I don’t know the specifics of the situation, but I want to stay in the Premier League and play against the best players. They’ve been so amazing with me. I don’t know if it’s off the cards to be there next season.

“It’s exciting,” he continued. While some players may freak out and worry that their contracts expire in the summer, this is a fantastic chance for them to showcase their abilities and highlight what an incredible narrative this has been and will continue to be. I just want to get there because going through this will only make my return to the top better.

The former Spurs star has had a challenging couple of years, so everyone is eager to see him return to the field and resume enjoying his sport.
