Transfer: Iheanacho’s interest is confirmed by the Toffees via their former head coach
Keith Wyness, the former CEO of Everton, has stated that his previous team is still interested in Kelechi Iheanacho.
Iheanacho is about to sign a free transfer away from Leicester City this summer.
The Foxes’ agreement with the Nigerian international will conclude at the end of June.
The 27-year-old has been connected to several teams in and out of England.
Wyness thought that despite playing one season in the Sky Bet Championship with Leicester City, Iheanacho still had what it took to succeed in the Premier League.
“I would keep an eye on him because I think he can do a great job for Premier League teams.” He told Football Insider, “I know Everton has been interested in him, and he can get a decent move in the Premier League.”
However, Leicester will aim to maintain as much consistency as they can. But nothing can be accomplished if agreements cannot be reached.
As the former Tottenham player gets ready to depart Everton as a free agent with a “bit between his teeth,” Dele Alli sent a transfer message that said, “It’s time for the conversation to stop.”

Consequently, what happened?
The former England international has had a difficult time lately, and his form has seriously declined as a result of his issues. Dele’s contract at Goodison Park will finish in the summer after he made just 13 appearances for Everton and went on loan to Besiktas in Turkey.

The former Tottenham playmaker, who is 28 years old, is coming to a significant career turning point that could allow him to start over. Without a doubt, he has the skill, but it is imperative that he make the proper move next.
Thoughts OF ROBINSON
Karl Robinson, who worked with Dele at MK Dons in his youth, has described the mysterious talent to talkSPORT, saying that Tottenham was the ideal place for him to grow up. The evidence was in his quick ascent. He made it to the Champions League final because to the amazing work that Mauricio [Pochettino] accomplished with him at Tottenham. Everybody has a past and struggles in life, and when we struggle, those things do come back to haunt us. Different people cope in different ways, and other people cope in better ways. This was something that Dele had to deal with on a personal level. After that, he returns and sustains an injury that likely delays him by another year and a half. Dele entered the room trying to be unique, and everything went bad for me after that. Despite his mental health issues, he made an effort to be unique by traveling to an American rehab facility. Everything began to leak out. Nobody was aware of Dele’s whereabouts in his life at the time.”
