How Sean Dyche has transformed Everton's defence

Everton fans will now be patiently awaiting this summer’s conclusion, as it will mean that those stars who remain are there to stay.

Although they have already made three smart additions, the transfer market has still been dominated by potential departures, with Jamie Branthwaite, Adama Onana, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin the three most probable candidates to go.

Even so, this most recent development has given Evertonians some relief and hope that their great player may eventually stay rather than leave, even though the former has been assiduously chased above all others.

Dharmesh Sheth provides Jarrad Branthwaite update

Dharmesh Sheth, a reporter for Sky Sports, tried to give the most recent information regarding Branthwaite’s Everton future in an interview with GIVEMESPORT.

Even though the situation is still unclear and occasionally it doesn’t seem like they will be able to hold onto such a skill, they are holding strong so far.

Manchester United has made two attempts at bids, but each time it has been rejected due to a £75 million price tag.

Sheth has hinted that they will either have to pay up or find a new player, saying, “The Branthwaite situation is in the air for United.” Although not at the amount Everton has quoted, they are still interested. Moreover, it seems that Everton no longer needs to sell and no longer wants to sell.

“You would think that if Branthwaite were to leave, it would be on Everton’s terms and they wouldn’t have to haggle over that price.”

It was previously stated that PSR forced Everton to sell Branthwaite. It doesn’t appear to be the situation anymore.

Why would Jarrad Branthwaite leave Everton?

Though this is coming from an Everton-focused publication, it is unclear why the 22-year-old would desire to switch from Goodison Park to Old Trafford.

Although the Red Devils are a far larger team than the Toffees, their history of players and coaches making the same move isn’t particularly impressive.

Romelu Lukaku was among the top strikers in the Premier League at the time of his transfer. His career is currently in limbo. Once more, David Moyes is highly regarded within the division. The club ended up cutting short his career. In Manchester, Marouane Fellaini was never as productive as he was in Merseyside.

With his brilliance, Wayne Rooney could have achieved his goals anywhere. He is the only true export who, since leaving the Toffees for Manchester United, has lived up to his full potential.

Even if there are rumours that Brandon is eager to leave Everton, staying for a further year or two would benefit him both now and down the road. It would also allow him to continue developing under Sean Dyche and possibly pursue other possibilities.

Two teams that don’t now require a centre back but might be in the market in a year or two are Manchester City and Arsenal.

Staying at Everton is the greatest thing for his growth and future opportunities. Hopefully, Kevin Thelwell can persuade him of this.
