Everton is considering taking Phillips on loan.
The second part of Kalvin Phillips’ previous season was spent on loan at West Ham.
Midfielder Kalvin Phillips is available for Everton on a season-long loan from Premier League winners Manchester City.
After spending £45 million to join City from Leeds in 2022, Phillips has failed to establish himself and was loaned to West Ham for the second half of the previous campaign.
The 28-year-old was a member of the England squad that advanced to the 2020 European Championship final, but under manager Gareth Southgate, he is currently out of favor and has not been selected for the tournament this summer.
Additionally, Everton is in negotiations to recruit Championship team Leeds’ Jack Harrison again, this time on loan.
Harrison, 27, made 35 appearances and netted four goals for the Toffees in the previous campaign.
Due to the club’s financial circumstances, players “will be sold” this summer, according to Everton director of football Kevin Thelwell, who also stated that new players would be acquired by “utilisation of the loan market.”
Everton is considering a transfer for Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips.
After joining Manchester City for £45 million in July 2022, Kalvin Phillips made 31 appearances while on loan at West Ham last season. The midfielder could once again be available for a short-term move.
Kalvin Phillips, a midfielder for Manchester City, is a target for Everton.
Phillips, who spent the second half of the previous season on loan at West Ham, may once again be available on a temporary basis.
Although it was previously believed that a return to Leeds was probable this summer, Everton’s prospects of brokering a deal have improved since they lost to Southampton in the Championship play-off final.
Since joining City for £45 million from Leeds in July 2022, Phillips has only made 31 appearances, and Pep Guardiola stated in December that he does not see the England midfielder playing for his squad.
The 28-year-old went on loan to West Ham.
