The F1 launch season has begun, with teams beginning to showcase their 2024 vehicles and season-specific liveries. Alfa Romeo and AlphaTauri are among the new names on the grid.
We have already seen half of the grid one week into the Formula 1 2024 vehicle releases, with five teams having unveiled their new rivals (or at least their liveries) and five more teams set to debut the following week.
The latest to reveal pictures of their vehicle early on Friday morning was Visa Cash App RB (the rebranded AlphaTauri); the remaining launch dates are listed below.
Several teams have already reduced the amount of paint used in an attempt to save weight, while several have added design aspects that worked well for Red Bull and McLaren during the previous season.
In 2024, nine Formula One teams will have to pursue Red Bull. The winners from the previous year will be watching closely, hoping that the automobile this year keeps the overwhelming edge it had in 2023.
There’s plenty of optimism, as usual. While Sauber, once known as Alfa Romeo, unveiled its Stake F1 rebranding last year with a garish green theme and a vow to unleash the beast, Alpine has high expectations for their totally revamped car.
The launches, which coincide with pre-season testing in Bahrain on February 21, offer us our first look at each constructor’s development, but they’ll be about more than simply the new gear.

Despite occasionally having incredible qualifying speed, Haas saw itself gradually regress as the 2023 season went on, finishing in last position in the constructors’ standings for the second time in the previous three years.

The color combination itself is an improvement over the dark and light blue arrangement from the previous year; it also pays homage to Williams’ history, as the deeper tint has been used in the team’s vehicles for many years.
Logan Sargeant, the driver, reported that he found driving the new vehicle in the simulator to be simpler. Although uncertain, considering that the car hasn’t been on track yet, it’s a promising first step.
