This offseason, there has been a lot of anticipation surrounding the Michigan football program, and fans anticipate big things in 2023. The Wolverines completed a significant amount of work in the transfer portal this offseason, and Michigan returned a number of key players from the previous campaign who should have huge seasons. Michigan ended with the #17 transfer class in the nation, adding nine new players via the portal to the 2023 roster. Josh Wallace is one player the Wolverines added; he transferred from football at UMass. Wallace was a huge acquisition for the secondary, and since arriving on school, he has impressed his teammates.
According to a bluebyninety.com report, Michigan football captain Mike Sainristil stated, “Most definitely (he can play).” “I informed Josh about his chance through a text message I sent him throughout his recruitment process. “Look, if coaches didn’t think you could be here, one, you wouldn’t be being recruited.” Two, you can enter the game and possibly begin at the corner.
