RB Josh Jacobs is leaving the Raiders for the Packers.

Josh Jacobs, a former All-Pro running back, is leaving the Las Vegas Raiders due to free agency. He’s going to sign with the Packers.

Christian Wilkins, a defensive tackle, is a big free agent that the Las Vegas Raiders are adding, but they are also losing one.

The Green Bay Packers will be receiving former All-Pro running back Josh Jacobs, according to Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

The star running back’s departure was largely due to his relationship with Rich Bisaccia, the special teams coordinator and assistant head coach of the Packers.

who took over as the Raiders’ interim head coach for 12 games during the 2021 season. Both the Raiders and Jacobs had expressed a desire to keep Jacobs.

Raiders reserve running back Zamir White handled the weight, helping lead Las Vegas to victory.

 

Jacobs had a stellar year the previous season, leading the NFL in rushing yards (1,653) and scrimmage yards (2,053).

He was named to the Associated Press All-Pro First Team and received his second Pro Bowl selection.

First-round pick The Raiders selected Jacobs in the 2019 NFL Draft.The product of Alabama made 13 starts in his debut season and was picked for his first Pro Bowl the following year.

Jacobs accumulated 1,448 receiving yards, 5,545 rushing yards, and 46 rushing touchdowns in his five seasons with the Raiders.

Jacobs departs Sin City having amassed the third-most career rushing yards and touchdowns in the history of the team.

His 2022 season’s career-high rushing total is second-best in Raiders history for a single season, only surpassed by legendary and Hall of Famer Marcus Allen.

The NFL Draft is scheduled for April 25–27, 2024, in Detroit, Michigan. With the 13th overall pick right now, it belongs to the Las Vegas Raiders.
