I dont believe Holger Rune did this but i think he did…………

After losing against Casper Ruud in the quarterfinals of the French Open, Holger Rune faced criticism for an odd incident.

During a change of ends, Rune was heard shouting “leave!” several times, at which point his mother got up to leave her seat.

Rune, however, clarifies that he was not aiming the instruction at his mother, who was constantly getting up and down from her seat during the night match at Roland-Garros.

After losing to Casper Ruud in the quarterfinal of the French Open, Holger Rune was had to retract his claim that he yelled, Leave! to his mother, Aneke.
The 19-year-old lost the match, which went till 12.30 am in Paris, 6-1 4-6 7-6 (7-2) 6-3.

The 19-year-old’s frustrations were evidently at an all-time high, as he was heard repeatedly yelling, Leave!at one point.
He remarked, To start with, I didn’t tell my mother to leave the stadium. That isn’t the reason. It was a different individual. Thus, that is incorrect.

Of course, it annoys me to be in my first Grand Slam quarterfinal and perform so poorly, especially in the opening set. I definitely didn’t strike the balls correctly. When you want something as badly as I do, that gets annoying.
In a social media post, Rune also stated, I adore my mother and I don’t send her away. It helps when my mother or coach departs so I don’t have two people to turn to when I’m upset.
At some point, she also quit in opposition to Stefanos [Tsitsipas]. to make me feel comfortable. It is not mine to control.
Then, his mother said to the media: I also fell away at one point during the match against Stefanos Tsitsipas.
It can sometimes be simpler for Holger to turn to the coach as his only point of reference when he spends too much time off the field.
To ease his worry, I decided to do the same thing today. It being late, he was visibly exhausted, and I thought that could be helpful.
After the game, Alex Corretja noted in the Eurosport Cube that Rune needs to learn how to better control his emotions.
Corretja saw that the mother was frequently entering and exiting the court. She was seated to his left, then to his right, before heading out and returning.
Since he is still very young, he must learn. He must learn to regulate his feelings. He was conversing excessively with the box. He must maintain his equilibrium.

After the game, Rune faced criticism as well for what appeared to be a chilly handshake with Ruud.
Nonetheless, Corretja thinks Rune has a promising future in the game and has garnered praise for his aggressive play style.
