Breaking news: Indiana Fever Caitlin Clark causes a stir as she accuses teammate of ‘hiding and allowing her to dry’ in…

Despite her team’s recent setbacks, rookie sensation Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever is choosing to see the bright side.

According to an interview with ESPN, Clark, the WNBA’s overall No. 1 draft pick this year, isn’t letting the Fever’s dismal record deter her from looking farther ahead.

“Losing never makes you happy,” Clark remarked. While it’s not enjoyable, there are a lot of things to improve with. All I’m trying to do is keep learning, keep stacking days, and remain as optimistic as I can. I’m confident the first victory is just around the corner.”

After her team’s defeat over the Seattle Storm on Wednesday, May 22, Clark felt that there was room for improvement. According to the outlet, she stated, “We definitely gave ourselves a chance, but at the same time there were some little things that we shot ourselves in the foot.”

Clark then emphasized that maintaining confidence is the best approach to win, despite the fact that her team is currently losing. “I believe you need to have faith in that, particularly now when you’re 0–5. I don’t believe it will be really helpful for us if you just become irritated about it,” she remarked.

On Monday, May 20, during Indiana’s game versus the Connecticut Sun, Clark, 22, suffered a rolling ankle that required her to go back to the locker room. In the second half of the game, she was able to return to the court and had an exciting sequence where she sank a three-pointer.

Following that game, Clark talked to reporters about the condition of her ankle in video that the Indiana Fever posted to YouTube. She said, “I turned it pretty good,” at the press conference. She clarified, saying that she doesn’t have “the best ankles in the world,” saying, “I think it just got caught, I don’t think I stepped on anybody.”
