Jannik Sinner asserts that she has transformed into professional, Carl Alcaraz
Sinner rose to a new career high of No. 3 after winning his maiden Grand Slam tournament at the Australian Open last month. Last week, he repeated the feat in Rotterdam.
Sinner is now just 835 points behind Alcaraz, who presently holds the No. 2 spot, a fact the Spaniard has acknowledged he is fully aware of.”I catch his breath.
On Monday, Alcaraz’s lead against Sinner will narrow to 535 points after the latter lost 300 points in his Rio Open first-round encounter this week.
After gaining 1,000 points at Indian Wells last year, Alcaraz will have to defend 360 points at the Miami Open, two events where No. 1 Novak Djokovic can only accrue points if he is unable to compete in 2023.
Since the US Open last year, Sinner has only dropped two games, and Alcaraz has talked about the improvements he has witnessed in the Italian since then.
I discuss it with Juan Carlos [Ferrero] several times when we visit him, Alcaraz went on. It is now more professional when compared to the Sinner from earlier.
With the Indian Wells tournament starting on Wednesday, March 6, Djokovic, Alcaraz, and Sinner will all be focusing on the sunshine double next.
