Jannik Sinner asserts that Taylor Fritz dismissed Morgan Riddle, her girlfriend, because of

Morgan Riddle, Taylor Fritz’s influencer girlfriend, might be second-guessing her Instagram pledge.

For the first time, Taylor Fritz has advanced to the Australian Open quarterfinals, and this has had a negative effect on his influencer girlfriend, Morgan Riddle.

American Fritz defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas, the runner-up from the previous year, in a historic match in Melbourne. Fritz won 7-6 (3) 5-7 6-3 6-3 to secure a match against Novak Djokovic in the round of eight.

Fritz, who has lost all eight of his previous matches with Djokovic—including a heartbreaking five-set loss in the third round three years ago when the Serbian injured his abdomen mid-match—will need to pull off another first if he hopes to advance.

Fritz exclaimed, I’m incredibly happy after his performance. I thought I played extremely well all the way through.

I’m quite pleased with how I completed it. I switched it on during the final three games of the match; I felt as though I was in a trance.

I simply felt wonderful. I had the impression that I knew exactly what shot to take and what play to make on every ball. It’s excellent. I’ve not felt like that in a long time, so that gives me a lot of confidence.

Fritz took advantage of his excitement on the court to tell his fiancée Morgan that she was about to face a test of her own because of a remark she made on social media before the Tsitsipas match.

With more than 221k Instagram followers, Riddle declared she would consume the full jar of Vegemite, an Australian food spread produced from leftover brewery yeast extract combined with different vegetable and spice additions.

A jar of Vegemite was brought out on stage for Morgan’s on-court interview following the victory over Tsitsipas, but he didn’t seem to like its size.

She obviously had fantasies of scarfing down a smaller jar of the spreak, but Fritz would not have it.

The American claimed, “My girlfriend thought I was too confident to win the match.

A bet’s a gamble, even when this is a huge jar. I’ve tried it, but I’m not really into it, so I’m not going to do it. I’ll see to it that it does.

Given Morgan’s significant position in the Netflix series Break Point, which has increased her fame on the social media site, her Vegemite moment is sure to receive a lot of views.

When Fritz discussed his involvement in that series with Tennis365 last year, he made the argument that increasing the sport’s visibility on such a large scale is essential to its increasing appeal.

According to Fritz, Tennis365, “Tennis has to do a better job of telling those tales and spreading the message.

For instance, Drive to Survive did a fantastic job of bringing viewers into that environment and sharing the drivers’ tales, which is why F1 is so popular today.

Because they are familiar with the man wearing the helmet, the fans feel more engaged and connected than before.

I know how many other entertainment options there are out there for young people because I grew up playing a lot of video games and still do, as well as watching YouTube videos and producers.

Tennis as a sport needs to find a better way to connect with this demographic and attract younger players. I’m not sure of the solution, but I do know that some adjustments must be made in order to strike a better balance between the great tennis traditions—which I adore and cherish—and what that new audience wants to see.

When Fritz thought back on his part in the Netflix documentary series, he said the behind-the-scenes movie he and partner Morgan were in enjoyed.

He went on, “Because they know the man inside the helmet, and because of that, they feel more invested, the fans feel more connected than ever right now.”
