The current Australian Open champion Jannik Sinner was described as cute by his girlfriend Morgan Riddle, to which American tennis player Taylor Fritz responded recently.
In the second season of the tennis documentary Break Point on Netflix, Fritz and Riddle were featured. Friend or Foe, the third episode, included a video of the couple striking up a conversation over dinner.
Riddle starts the conversation by asking Fritz about Sinner’s form.
She asks, How’s Sinner playing right now?
Fritz says, I mean, I believe he’s been playing good all year.
Fritz is then reportedly teased by Riddle, who says:
Watching him [Jannik Sinner] is entertaining. He’s adorable.
The World No. 9 answers, Ok.
He is, says Riddle once more.
Fritz’s response was captured when the ATP recently played back the video recording of him speaking with Riddle. He laughed when he said that he was aware of the cameras when he was speaking with his girlfriend.

I understand her sentiment when she says, He’s cute, but I’m being filmed by cameras. Taylor Fritz remarked, I’m not really sure how I’m supposed to respond to that, like, huh… yes, he’s cute.
Nothing differentiates Fritz and Sinner thus far in terms of head-to-head numbers. They have only faced off twice and split the victories.
It’s interesting to note that Indian Wells Tennis Garden hosted both of their meetings. In the pre-quarterfinals in 2021, Fritz defeated Sinner 6-4, 6-3, and in 2023, the Italian answered with a 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 victory.
According to Morgan Riddle, Taylor Fritz’s girlfriend, the World No. 9 player has always shown good emotional control following a defeat.
“Taylor Fritz has a rapid rate of emotional recovery. It seems like some males get irritated and shut down, yet all he wants is for me to give him a cuddle.
Compared to the possibility of the reverse, I am grateful for it. However, it becomes even more memorable when you score those significant victories, Riddle stated on the Sportsish podcast.
Fritz’s success on the court, according to Riddle, is largely due to his optimistic outlook.
Taylor’s coaches have always emphasized how strong his mental game is, which is crucial in tennis, and how skilled he is at handling it.
That mental toughness makes up around 70% of the tennis game, the player continued.
It’s noteworthy because Fritz and Riddle have been dating since 2020 and that people frequently see them together both on and off the court.
