Carlos Alcaraz says Sinner has worked really hard, and it is showing.

Global No. 2Carlos Alcaraz thinks that the secret to Jannik Sinner’s amazing achievement over the last six months is just to work hard every day.

After winning his first Grand Slam title at the Australian Open this month, Sinner has risen to No. 3 in the rankings and is pursuing Alcaraz for No. 2.

The Italian won the title in Rotterdam to cap off his maiden Major, bringing his season total to 12-0.

There is no secret, as I have constantly stated. He has put in a lot of work, and it shows. He works hard and is very focused on his tasks at every competition.

Whenever we see Australian , I have told him numerous times. When I contrast him with the previous Sinner, I see that he has evolved into a more mature person.

He was before (as well), but he’s much more of one now because he works daily and has everything in order. Alcaraz told Marca in an interview that Jannik Sinner is a good example of how hard work pays off; I’m glad for him and his team.


In contrast, Sinner’s stock has increased during the last half-year. Alcaraz has encountered difficulties. Since August, the Spaniard has not advanced to the tour’s final.

The two-time Grand Slam winner felt he was close to reaching his peak until suffering an ankle injury in Rio de Janeiro this week.

I don’t think I’m far away, but I still have to get to that level that I’ve demonstrated numerous times in tennis and confidence, understanding when to handle certain situations.”

Alcaraz, who stated that the ankle ailment that prompted him to withdraw from the Rio Open this week will only keep him off the courts for a few days, is anticipated to play against fellow countryman Rafael Nadal on March 3 at the Netflix Slam in Las Vegas.

The 20-year-old is also eager to have a few more chances to perform on the main tour as his legendary countryman.

I would definitely prefer to play against Nadal, wherever that may be. I would like to play against him in a face-to-face competition on the court once more.

I would like to go through it again once or twice. as many as is practical. Being able to play him once more would be amazing.
