Three Kansas City Chiefs fans were found dead in their friend’s backyard after the owner of the home hosted a watch party for the Chiefs vs Chargers game.

On January 7, the Chiefs took on the Los Angeles Chargers, a game in which the Chiefs won 13-12. Jordan Willis hosted a watch party for his friends in his Kansas City home, on a day when the high was 41°F and the low was 32°F.

Willis says he went to bed after the Chiefs’ victory on January 7, although he did let his buddies stay if they wanted to.

The bodies weren’t found until January 9, two days later, when one of the men’s fiancées went looking for him. She went to her friend’s house and broke in after her fiancée never returned. She discovered him on the back porch at that point.

Willis was carrying an empty glass of wine and was only wearing his underwear when the police came. They found two more bodies in the backyard once they went inside the house.

Although Willis asserts that he was unaware that his friends’ bodies were in his garden, he also asserts that his companions “froze to death.”

The names of the three pals were Clayton McGeeney, Ricky Johnson, and David Harrington. The relatives of the victims are calling for an investigation because they feel Willis’s account “doesn’t add up.”

The cousin of one of the deceased, Caleb McGeeney, told FOX that he couldn’t bear the notion of his dying and then having to remain outside in the cold for two days. “It’s really upsetting; the entire family is dysfunctional. He was a really kind guy.

McGeenery comments, “It’s got a lot of holes in it. Like, the last time he saw them, they were leaving the house, but he didn’t know they had left, that doesn’t make much sense.” in reference to Willis’ account.

Families Of Victims Are Demanding Answers, Stating The Story ‘Doesn’t Add Up’

Initially, Willis’s counsel asserted that he watched the men depart his home as he went to bed, but later, the attorney said Willis never witnessed the friends leave and that he let them “hang out” downstairs for as long as they wished. They also say there was a fifth male who hasn’t been recognized, although the police haven’t confirmed this.

The family of the victims are demanding answers because they believe Willis’s tale is inconsistent and “doesn’t add up.”

Harrington’s mother Jennifer Marquez reportedly told DailyMail, “Nobody believes this narrative… none of his friends, none of the families, none of us believe it… Everyone is enraged.”

Johnson’s brother remarked, “There are a lot of different things that don’t add up; we just don’t understand how somebody would be investigated in any way,” and Johnson’s mother continued, “Something is not right.”

Willis disputes the claims made by the victims’ families that they made an effort to get in touch with him after the men vanished. Willis said that one of the spouses had contacted him via Facebook Messenger, but he claims he didn’t notice the message until the police showed up.

Jordan Willis Claims He Wasn’t Aware The Bodies Were In His Backyard

Willis’s lawyer said in a press statement that “Jordan had nothing at all to do with their deaths.” He has no idea how or when they left his home, nor does he know how or when they died.”

The Kansas City Police Department’s Captain Jake Becchina declared that the “case is 100% NOT being investigated as a homicide.”

He further stated that “there are no specific threats or concerns for the surrounding community at this time.”

As of right now, no one is in jail and no charges or arrests have been made.
