Updated at 1:02 p.m. with more information from a woman claiming to have witnessed the collision.
Rashee Rice, a wide receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs, is wanted by police in relation to a serious multi-vehicle accident that occurred in northeast Dallas on Saturday night, law enforcement officials confirmed to The Dallas Morning News.
At approximately 6:20 p.m., authorities told The News that a car thought to be registered or leased to Rice was involved in an accident in the 6600 block of North Central Expressway.
The police call sheet that The News was able to get verified that law enforcement was seeking Rice in relation to the accident, as stated by the law enforcement officers.
It’s unclear if he was involved in the collision. According to Dallas police spokeswoman Kristin Lowman, the first investigation found that two drivers—one in a Lamborghini and the other in a Chevrolet Corvette—were driving in the far left lane close to University Boulevard when they both lost control of their cars.
The Lamborghini “struck the center median wall, producing a chain reaction crash involving four other vehicles,” according to Lowman, after it went onto the shoulder.
According to Lowman, the occupants of the Lamborghini and the Corvette fled the scene without pausing to inquire about anyone’s need for medical attention or to exchange any personal information.
Two drivers had minor injuries treated at the scene of the incident, while two additional individuals were sent to a hospital for similar injuries. According to Lowman, detectives are still trying to identify the suspects.
Rice was identified as the suspected driver of the Corvette on the police call sheet that The News was able to get.
Multiple calls and emails for comment from Kansas City Chiefs spokespeople have gone unanswered. A request for comment was also not quickly answered by a member of Rice’s marketing staff.
As of approximately 11:45 a.m. on Sunday, Rice was not included in Dallas County jail records. If he is facing any charges, it was not immediately apparent.
In an interview with The News, Kayla Quinn, 27, stated that the crash happened on Saturday while she was returning home with her 4-year-old son from the Fort Worth Zoo.
Quinn said that her automobile was side swiped on the driver’s side when she was in the lane adjacent to the far left lane.
She claimed that when she attempted to pull over, her car’s mirror broke and she was unable to see very far. She remembered that several cars had flipped or whirled around in midair.
She noticed guys from the Lamborghini appear to be removing someone from the Corvette when she finally stopped.
Then five males from the Corvette and Lamborghini pulled off onto the freeway’s shoulder. They seemed like they were going to a neighboring train station, according to Quinn.
Quinn stated to The News that “no one stopped.” “We have kids, like, like, really, you know what I mean? What bothers me is that there was no compassion displayed to the point where you could even pause and ask if someone was okay or still alive.
She gave videos.A man walking by the scene of the crash with a bag is seen on the news wearing a white T-shirt. Quinn claimed to be a Lamborghini native.
Someone asks from behind the camera, “You guys alright?”
The man says, “Yeah, my chest.”
“Where are you guys going?” inquires the person recording the footage. The dude doesn’t seem to be responding.
Moments later, four more males pass by, following the man with the white T-shirt. One man’s face is partially hidden by something covering his head. As they go, another man is putting his arm around the shoulders of another man.
“Are you guys okay?” Once more, the person filming asks. “Yes,” someone answers.
Pointing up to a road above the expressways, the man with his face hidden says, “We need get up there though.”
“Are you guys simply going to walk away?” inquires the person recording the footage. It seems that no one responds.
As they are passed by the men driving the Lamborghini and Corvette, the gang discusses dialing 911.
Quinn supplied further recordings that displayed damage to multiple vehicles, one of which had a large dent on the driver’s side of Quinn’s white Hyundai Accent.
The front and rear bumpers of the automobile are loose, and the mirror next to the driver’s side is seen dangling off the vehicle in the footage.

Quinn revealed to The News that there were two white cleats left in the Lamborghini’s rear. She said that before they left, one of the other witnesses claimed that they had taken bags and pistols out of the cars.
Quinn reported that although her son was trembling and sobbing, first responders at the crash scene examined him and found him to be well.
She claimed that although her left shoulder is still hurting, the mishap was caused by an adrenaline rush that took her attention away.
“It was shocking,” she uttered. “I was able to experience very little pain.”
She added that as police conducted their investigation, she was stranded at the crash scene for around five hours, or until 11:30 p.m. She reported that her car was “un-drivable” and mentioned that the other automobiles had significant damage as well.
She expressed her displeasure that the drivers of the Lamborghini and Corvette appeared to have no remorse, putting the lives of two or more children in jeopardy, and she stated that she wants them to be charged with endangering the welfare of children.
Quinn remarked, “I’m just trying to hold onto my faith and simply trust that everything that is done in secret will eventually come to light.” “You caused more harm to yourself. You all did not escape, despite your belief that you had.
It could have been lot worse, therefore I consider myself lucky to have been able to leave.
