Fans of LeBron James believe he’s in serious trouble with his wife, Savannah, after a heated meeting with the Lakers club owner.
James was seen in a widely shared video sitting between Lakers controlling owner Jeanie Buss and executive director Linda Rambis while his teammates competed on the court. More precisely, fans’ perceptions that Savannah has the NBA champion in the doghouse seem to have been stoked by the unrestricted and prolonged physical contact that Buss, James, and Rambis shared during this confrontation.
Following the video, a widely shared image of James and Savannah watching Bronny’s USC game over the weekend went viral, raising even more rumors due to the couple’s reserved facial expressions. Because of this, the exchange has generated a lot of conversation and memes on social media, where many compare Buss to James’ “work wife.”
Not to add, comments on the incident have come from everyone, from casual hoops fans to professional sportsmen themselves. The video went so far as to become famous on Twitter (X), where former NFL star Antonio Brown included the incident in his weekend’s CTESPN Sports Center Top 10 clips.
The actual chat between Buss, James, and Rambis was allegedly lot lighter and more innocent in tone than we’ve been led to believe, despite all of the hoopla surrounding it. Buss and Rambis were presumably responding to James’s professional flowers and wishes for a happy International Women’s Day.

Lakers Injury Report: Cam Reddish Out; LeBron James Possibly Questionable Against Warriors
LeBron James (left ankle peroneal tendinopathy), Anthony Davis (bilateral Achilles teninopathy), and Cam Reddish (right ankle sprain) are all labeled as doubtful for the Los Angeles Lakers’ game against the Golden State Warriors on Saturday night.
Although head coach Darvin Ham stated during practice on Friday that there should be an update on all of them soon, Gabe Vincent, Christian Wood, Colin Castleton, and Jarred Vanderbilt are still sidelined due to their respective injuries and do not yet have a schedule for their returns.
Vanderbilt looks to be improving as well, and Vincent recently advanced to non-contact work, so perhaps they’ll return before the regular season ends.
James has been dealing with the ankle issue for the past few months. He had treatment during the All-Star break, and while he has been able to play in all of the other games, he has missed two in the second half, one of which was against the Warriors.
With the current state of the rankings and the significance of this game versus the Warriors, it seems likely that both James and Davis will start for Los Angeles. The Lakers, who have a 1-1 record against the Warriors this year, will need to win this game in order to maintain their lead in the rankings and secure the tiebreakers over their division rivals.
It is regrettable for the Lakers that Reddish will miss another game due to an ankle issue that has been keeping him in and out of the starting lineup for some time. Against the Warriors, his perimeter defense would have been much appreciated.
Speaking of the Warriors, all of the big names should be playing on Saturday night in primetime in Los Angeles as Stephen Curry is anticipated to return to the starting lineup following his own ankle injury.
Darvin Ham talks on the significance of the Lakers vs. Warriors match.
Everyone is aware of how vital every game is for the Lakers at this point in the season, but head coach Darvin Ham made a point of highlighting how significant this one versus the Warriors is.
“Very significant,” Ham remarked on Friday following practice. “I had a terrific day today; there was a lot of enthusiasm.” We watched the Sacramento tape and discussed a few other things we may improve upon. We also included some clips from Minnesota or other places, along with our recent performance here. However, the majority of the focus was on ways to lessen the number of 3s that are being added to our ranks. We so examined that, as well as our offensive and rebounding strategies and ball handling techniques. We observed the portion of the third quarter from the previous game in Sacramento and the possessions where we were actually using our screens and tempo to our advantage.
“It was good, a lot of conversation with several different individuals,” I said. That’s been fantastic, in my opinion, and it’s helped us bounce back from some of these heartbreaking defeats. We examine how we might improve by staring ourselves in the face in the mirror, coaches, and players. However, we did touch on Golden State when we got on the floor. We’ll practice again tomorrow to ensure that we feel confident in how we approach them; I won’t give away any specifics just yet. However, we are confident in our chances.
