As if the series of losses wasn’t enough, the Las Vegas Raiders face more challenges as they enter Week 11. Another, more serious transgression has been added to their already injury-plagued roster. According to reports, their star receiver, Davante Adams, may be unable to attend this Sunday’s game. Adams was designated by the Raiders as a limited participant due to an abdomen issue.
Although there is no information on how he received the injury, no serious news has emerged from the Raiders camp thus far. Adams played practically every play in their loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Their loss against NFL analyst-turned-coach Jeff Saturday concluded a run of poor performances. In fact, some fans are pushing for the Raiders to fire head coach Josh McDaniels. The team’s terrible poverty appears to be his only saving grace right now.
Davante Adams recently made news for shoving a photographer following their loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Despite being charged with minor assault, the NFL did not suspend him. The very next week, following their victory over the Houston Texans, Adams motioned for the photographers to line up down the tunnel to give him more space. Clearly intended to be a comedic approach, right?
This is Adams’ first season with the Raiders, after being traded by the Green Bay Packers in the offseason. Since then, the Packers have suffered significant offensive setbacks, and Adams’ absence is felt deeply by quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the rest of the club.
