What Leicester Said”LCFC has repeatedly demonstrated its commitment to the P&S rules through its operating model over a significant period of time, achieving compliance while pursuing sporting ambitions that are entirely credible given the Club’s consistent success, both domestically and in European competition. As we continue to promote the Club’s viewpoint, we will fight for all clubs’ rights to pursue their goals, particularly those that have been legitimately and fairly established by consistent sporting performance.

The Club appreciates its supporters’ understanding in this circumstance and their continuous support for our team, whose success on the pitch in the closing weeks of the season remains our top focus.”

The King Power Stadium club is the latest to face punishment from England’s top tier. Manchester City has been charged with 115 financial violations, while Everton and Nottingham Forest have recently been penalized points. Everton was punished ten points, but that was reduced to six after an appeal, while Forest was docked four points this week. Chelsea is also thought to be facing a significant point deduction for violating financial restrictions.Leicester, who are now second in the Championship, will want to continue their campaign for promotion back to the Premier League this season. They will then try to avoid any potential points deductions if they return to the top division.
