The NBA media has given Bronny James a lot of attention during his first year at USC. But in LeBron’s opinion, things have gone too far.
ESPN’s most recent NBA mock draft does not include Bronny, who is leading the Trojans in scoring this season with an average of 5.5 points per game. According to ESPN experts, Bronny plans to stay at USC for his sophomore year in order to improve his skill set and get ready for the 2025 NBA Draft.
There has been a lot of discussion about ESPN’s mock draft choice. Therefore, LeBron will not just sit on the sidelines and not take up for his son.
The forward for the Los Angeles Lakers is endorsing the NBA media and supporters to let Bronny simply enjoy playing basketball in college. He continues, “Bronny doesn’t give a damn about evaluations or mock drafts.”
LeBron commented on Twitter, deleting the post after a while, saying, “Can yall please just let the child be a kid and enjoy college basketball?” “Whatever he chooses to do, in the end, the effort and outcomes will speak for themselves. You guys may be unaware that he simply works, regardless of what a mock draft says! Earned Rather Than Assigned!”
And to all the other young people out there aspiring to be great, he continued, “Just keep your head down, put on blinders, and keep grinding.” These mock drafts are completely irrelevant! I swear to you! All that matters is the work! People, let’s talk about REAL BASKETBALL!”
LeBron is in a great position, but as the son of an NBA star, he should be aware of the responsibilities that come with the job. The truth of Bronny’s collegiate basketball career was always going to be like this.
Regardless of how good Bronny plays, he will always be in the public eye when he plays basketball.
Meanwhile, good for LeBron for defending his son.
