Los Angelos Rams
Jeremy Springer
As the incoming head coach of the New England Patriots, Jerod Mayo is already scouting a player from the Los Angeles Rams while assembling his staff. The Patriots are anticipated to interview Rams assistant coach Jeremy Springer for the position of special teams coordinator, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Springer, who worked under Joe DeCamillis in 2022 and Chase Blackburn this past season as a special teams assistant with the Rams, recently concluded his second season in that role. The Patriots clearly like what Springer brings to the table, even though the Rams’ special teams unit was the worst in football.
Prior to this, Springer worked as a college coach for eight years, holding positions at Marshall, Arizona, UTEP, and Texas A&M.
