Eminem’s Surprise message for Matthew Stafford ahead of Rams-Lions clash Causes…

Stafford, formerly of the Lions, will look to win with the Rams in familiar territory on Sunday

Please get up, the actual Detroit quarterback.

The No. 3 Detroit Lions will host the No. 6 Los Angeles Rams on Sunday Night Football in what could be the best wild-card matchup of the weekend.

QB narratives are pitted against one another in this showdown. In order to overcome its Super Bowl obstacle, Los Angeles acquired Matthew Stafford in a trade with the Rams in 2021, while Jared Goff departed for Detroit to further his career.

After the deal, Stafford, a Lion from 2009 to 2020, assisted the Rams in winning Super Bowl LVI at SoFi Stadium, while Goff guided the Lions to their first-ever NFC North championship this season. Additionally, Detroit rapper Eminem delivered a message to the former team’s quarterback in an NBC ad as Stafford and the flying Rams prepared to enter Ford Field on Sunday.

“Stafford, what’d I say?” Marshall Mathers III (actual name: Eminem) made his debut. “Bro, you owe me this favour. I was present when you triumphed in [Super Bowl LVI].Yes, I was there. Stafford, I rapped for you. I rapped for you, bro. Would you please just give this one to us? Only this particular one.”

Eminem is alluding to his guest performance at the Super Bowl LVI halftime show, where he was joined by Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige, and Anderson.Paak.

Stafford and the Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 23–20 at home in the Super Bowl. With three losses as a Lion and four wins as a Ram, Stafford is 3-3 all-time in the playoffs.

Goff will try to alter that, as will the revamped Detroit squad led by head coach Dan Campbell.
