Los Angeles Rams Get Huge Boost On The Offensive Line Ahead Of Tilt With Dolphins
Little by little, the Los Angeles Rams are getting healthier. Heading into this season, the Rams were viewed as a true contender after a solid draft class and heavy offensive spending during free agency.
That was all derailed when they were struck with the injury bug, forcing them to max out their allotted IR spots.
Two of those spots were taken by offensive linemen Jonah Jackson and Steve Avila.
The Rams get some good news as both players have been Designated for Return, and returned to practice.
Now, this does not necessarily mean that both will play on Monday Night, against the Miami Dolphins, but having the extra day certainly helps, and based on the Rams history of quick turnarounds after designations (Puka Nacua most recently), I would not be surprised if both players suit up.
6th-round selection, Beaux Limmer, has held down the center position admirably. Per PFF, he has an overall grade of 59.9, but has not given up a sack on the year and only registered 4 penalties. He has allowed 10 total pressures.
Justin Dedich, an undrafted free agent out of USC, was given the start in favor of Logan Bruss against the Raiders and has started ever since. Per PFF, he has an overall grade of 56.7, but has only registered 1 penalty and has given up zero sacks. He has also only allowed 7 pressures.
Both rookies have played well, and demonstrate that the Rams now have some solid depth in the interior, but getting both Jackson and Avila back should give the offense another big boost.
The Los Angeles Rams’ offensive line is receiving a much-needed boost ahead of their matchup against the Miami Dolphins. Injuries had left the line vulnerable, impacting consistency, but the return of key players like Rob Havenstein and Joe Noteboom is stabilizing the unit. Head coach Sean McVay emphasized the value of continuity, especially as players like Jonah Jackson and Steve Avila gain experience and cohesion. This renewed stability will help protect quarterback Matthew Stafford, who benefits from more time to connect with targets, enhancing the Rams’ offense against a dynamic Dolphins team
