It’s noteworthy that ESPN’s Matt Miller, who analyzes hundreds of prospects each year and occasionally tips the scales at nearly 1,000 names, was particularly taken aback by the Los Angeles Rams’ selection of offensive tackle Beaux Limmer in the sixth round. Along with quarterback Michael Pratt and receiver Brenden Rice, Miller picked Limmer in a thread he shared on Twitter on Monday, featuring his greatest plays and largest reaches.

For a player who finished 217th overall, that is quite the compliment.

It’s possible that Limmer will just be a solid backup with an opportunity to compete as a starter in 2025 or 2026, but it’s still encouraging that Los Angeles has more offensive linemen on the roster who can help in any capacity. The Rams can’t afford to let one injury ruin their chances of making the playoffs or of protecting Matthew Stafford, not after spending so much money on guard and center in the last two offseasons. Thus, Les Snead really needed to use his day three picks to acquire Limmer in the sixth round, as he was essentially a throwaway pick for many clubs.

Immermer is competing with Brennan Jackson and Joshua Karty in a survey of Rams supporters regarding their top three selections from the third day.

It’s interesting to notice that Brennan Jackson was ranked 154th on Matt Miller’s big board in the discussion. Jackson was selected by the Rams with the 154th pick.
