“Wages” and “paperwork” are used as excuses to ignore Marc Marquez
“Why attempt to cover his salary when another person is?”
It has been argued that Marc Marquez shouldn’t be added to the factory Ducati squad due to financial concerns.
Jorge Martin of Pramac and Marquez of Gresini will be competing in the Catalunya MotoGP this weekend with the intention of persuading Ducati to add them to their official 2025 squad.
Enea Bastianini, the man wearing red at the moment, whose bike Marquez and Martin lust after, is still vying for first place.
There are issues, despite the attraction of six-time MotoGP champion Marquez joining the official Ducati squad.
Broadcaster Simon Crafar stated, “I’ve been thinking about it,” from the Barcelona paddock.
“I would leave Marc alone, given the influence of Red Bull.”
“Go now, leave Marc alone. With his brother, he is content. Sponsors are covering his salary.
Why attempt to cover his wages while another person is?
“To keep him happy, I would give him the bike.” And challenge Jorge or Enea.
Think of the paperwork Marc would need to transfer from Red Bull to Monster.
“He’s living with his brother, everything is good, and he gets paid by someone else.”
According to reports, Marquez’s personal sponsors are a barrier if he decides to leave Gresini for the official Ducati team.
One of his main personal sponsors, Red Bull, clashes with Monster, a sponsor of Ducati.
Marquez’s other partnerships with Samsung, Allianz, and Oakley may also present issues as they differ from those with Ducati.
He was able to move his personal sponsors from Repsol Honda to Gresini.
Rather, Pramac’s Martin ought to be given the opportunity to wear red at last.
In the last two years, he has been disregarded twice, with Bastianini winning.
Jorge, the rider leading the MotoGP standings after five rounds, has done enough, in Crafar’s opinion.
Though I adore Enea, his luck hasn’t been good.
“It would be unfortunate if they withheld it from Jorge; he has earned it enough.”
Together with Gresini, Bastianini won the second-most races in 2022, earning a spot next to Francesco Bagnaia.
However, injuries derailed his rookie season, and while he has displayed flashes of brilliance this year, it is against the backdrop of Marquez’s availability and Martin’s scorching form.
Regarding Bastianini’s aspirations for a third season with the official squad, Crafar remarked, “If that doesn’t happen, it will be a tragedy.”
“Because Enea is a wonderful rider who has had a great deal of misfortune since he got on that machine.”
“Last year, an injury sustained at Portimao rendered me unable.
He is returning now. He hasn’t produced the outcomes required to maintain that position.
“He can ride a bike well enough. He must bring everything together, including qualifying, placing himself in the right situation, being error-free, putting it on the box, and doing it consistently.
