Red Bull Racing driver Max Verstappen is a big inspiration for Arsenal defender Jurrien Timber, according to a recent interview with NBC Sports.
“Yes, I enjoy looking at winners. In the NBA, you see them a lot, but I also appreciate looking at guys like Max Verstappen,” Timber said.
“I love to see that, and I love to read his comments on things that happen after a race,” the fan said of one of his post-game interviews. “Sometimes you just go, ‘Wow, this man is such a big winner.”
The Dutchman responded, “Yeah, sure, I think we have it a lot already; we have a lot of winners and leadership in the group already, but it’s always nice to add, I think,” when asked if it could convert into a winning mindset among the Arsenal team.
