Just now, Odell Beckham Jr. of the Miami Dolphins has been suspended due to his ‘inappropriate behaviour’ towards a fan.
Odell Beckham Jr., a wide receiver with the Miami Dolphins, angrily denied any notion that he is avoiding team workouts because of his persistent injury problems.
A viewer on X questioned whether Beckham is “pulling off another Will Fuller,” alluding to the fact that Fuller signed a one-year contract worth over $10 million in 2021 but only made three appearances with Miami. The three-time Pro Bowler used that as inspiration for a slew of posts:

I must admit that when my name appears in a piece, I receive more likes and clicks than when it doesn’t. People are incredibly bored. Who wants to work from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and not be able to do what they love? Please make that more logical. Sort out the facts and go about your business.

Yes, but I’m used to that; I’m not sure why I believed that our world would progress in any other way. There are a million things happening in our world, but they all continue to make senseless things.
Odell Beckham Jr@objNice, huh! Yes, I believe that if you just keep posting clickbait to get attention, the solutions should eventually show up. In any case, everyone here is aware of what is happening with the team and the people in this building. The remainder of the story will become clear as time goes on. I appreciate your concerns.
Due to the ruptured ACL he sustained the previous season while playing for the Los Angeles Rams, Beckham was sidelined for the entirety of 2022. This was his second significant ACL injury. He had an ankle injury early in 2023 while playing with the Baltimore Ravens, missing two games.
The 31-year-old’s current predicament, which has an unexplained origin, is rather anticipated in light of the fact that his wear and tear is beginning to accumulate.
When you consider the financial aspect, it is equally absurd to believe that OBJ is just cashing checks. His NFL career earnings have been close to $99 million, while his guaranteed payout for 2024 is barely $3 million.
At this point, Beckham doesn’t need to play for a pay cheque, and he would have definitely held out for more money if his only goal was to woo an NFL franchise.
Putting all of that aside, Miami is getting close to a crucial deadline with the experienced pass-catcher.
After reporting in July that Beckham was “working through minor things,” NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero noted that Beckham was placed on the active/physically unable to perform (PUP) list. It’s a little troubling that he can’t fully participate in training camp even though he is making some progress in his fitness.
Between now and Week 1, Miami will need to add Beckham to the active roster. If not, he will have to miss four games in order to remain on the PUP list.
