Former Draft Pick Returning to the Miami Dolphins Coaching Staff

Surprisingly, Danny Crossman is still the Miami Dolphins special teams coach despite the team’s dismal performance since his return in 2019. There are 27 players on the Miami Dolphins 2024 free agency roster who are expected to be available for grabs. We analyze each and recommend what the Dolphins should do, beginning with Eli Apple, the cornerback.

The NFL season of 2023 has come to an end, after the Kansas City Chiefs won Super Bowl LIII a little more than a week ago. It’s time to start looking more closely at each Miami Dolphins player who is set to become a free agent as the calendar approaches the 2024 offseason and free agency period.

When the new league year kicks off on March 13 at 4 p.m. ET, the 29 players on the Dolphins’ roster are free to sign with any team. Restricted free-agent tenders are available to two of those players. In the meanwhile, if Miami does not utilize its one franchise tag or sign the remaining 27 players to a contract extension, they will become unrestricted free agents. We will go through those 27 players over the course of the next few weeks, and you will get an opportunity to weigh in on what Miami ought to do with each of them.

Eli Apple, a cornerback, will be the subject of this afternoon’s first “Walk, Tag, Re-Sign” video. You may cast your vote in the poll at the bottom of the post to let us know what you think the Dolphins should do. You can also talk about Apple’s future with the team in the comments section.
