Odell Beckham Jr. lashes out at Miami Dolphins fans over injury concerns

Odell Beckham Jr., a wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins, has, to put it mildly, had enough of the injury rumors.

Beckham has used social media to dispel fan conspiracy theories over his situation. He is now on the physically unable to perform list (PUP).

In answer to a fan who asked if Beckham was “pulling off another Will Fuller,” the athlete personally commented, “Just must remember I get more likes in click with my name in a story then without it… People are really bored. Who wants to work from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and not be able to do what they love? Please make that more logical. Gather your data and take care of business.

During the abrupt back-and-forth argument, Beckham wrote numerous responses, but this one caught our attention:

Players interacting with fans on social networking applications never really benefits the former, as is always the case. Although some irritation on Beckham’s part is understandable, pointing attention to Fuller similarities is not helping him. Fuller signed a $10.6 million contract with the Dolphins in 2021 and caught four catches while fighting injuries.

Beckham was signed by the Dolphins with the intention of teaming him with Jaylen Waddle, but that has not happened yet. Tua Tagovailoa recently said that it is difficult to assess how the veteran fits right now because they have not had many reps together.

Due to preseason reporting restrictions, head coach Mike McDaniel and the Dolphins have not made any overt mention of the reason why veteran wide out Beckham is still on the PUP. When the club must choose whether to include him in the final 53 or keep him off the field in a few weeks, that may all change.
