According to agent Richard Roberts, Gallimore declined a slightly higher offer from another team because he enjoyed the opportunity in Miami and the ability to work with Dolphins defensive line coach Austin Clark, with whom he has a long-standing positive relationship.
Although Gallimore can play nose tackle (Davis’ position in Miami), he will compete at Wilkins’ post.
