Terron Armstead, a left lineman for the Miami Dolphins, is anticipated to be back for the 2024 campaign, sources informed NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
According to Rapoport, Armstead and the Dolphins are completing a reworked contract.
Armstead, who turns 33 in July, was thinking about leaving the NFL after missing seven games due to injury in 2023.
The seasoned offensive tackle has never played a complete season in his 11-year career due to his struggles with health.
Armstead is still a vital component of Miami’s explosive offense in spite of his injury concerns.
Before joining the Dolphins as a free agency in 2022 and agreeing to a five-year, $75 million contract, Armstead started his career with the New Orleans Saints. Five Pro Bowl nominations have been given to him, one for each of his two years in Miami.
