Terry Rozier of the Miami Heat had a neck injury near the close of the previous campaign. He declared that he was prepared to start playing basketball again.
Terry Rozier is back to full strength following his late-season neck injury.
He informed reporters on Tuesday that he was prepared to get back to playing basketball regularly.
Rozier missed the last four games of the previous regular season because of neck spasms. Prior to sitting out the Boston Celtics’ opening-round playoff series loss, he also skipped the two Play-In Tournament games. Along with standout forward Jimmy Butler, he was one of two starters injured during the postseason.
At the conclusion of the regular season, Heat coach Erik Spoelstra remarked, “I just feel for Terry.” “He’s been coming along rather nicely. Right now, he isn’t prepared to participate in an NBA playoff game. However, we are encouraged, as am I. I’m sorry for him. What a competitor he is. I am aware of how much he wants to be outside during these certain moments. However, we’ll keep treating him and monitor his condition.
At the previous season’s trade deadline, Rozier was acquired by the Heat. Prior to the injury, he had averaging 16.4 points and 4.6 assists in 31 games for the Heat.
To acquire Rozier, Miami sent Kyle Lowry and one of their remaining first-round picks to the Charlotte Hornets. The two other times the Heat gave up first-round picks were when they made trades for Jimmy Butler in 2019 and Goran Dragic in 2015.
