Jake Paul is informed by Mike Tyson’s close friend about how seriously he takes fighting.
Mike Tyson, who is 58 years old, will square off against Jake Paul in a thrilling boxing match in July that will be aired on Netflix. It looks like Tyson will be entering the ring one last time.
In their impending summer boxing match, former heavyweight world champion Mike Tyson intends to annihilate Jake Paul—not treat it like a sparring match for entertainment purposes.
And to put an end to his illustrious career once and for all, the former baddest man alive is planning to eliminate his rival YouTuber.
That’s the opinion expressed by legendary fighter and Mike’s pal Zab Judah, who maintains that the multi-million-dollar pay-per-view fight on Netflix is real.
When Paul and Mike squared off on Netflix in Dallas on July 20, Judah said that Mike has a mentality like that of “an animal” in the ring that the rookie Paul will not be able to handle.
In addition, Judah talked candidly about his own inspiring recovery from a brain hemorrhage during his 2019 11th-round knockout loss to Cletus Seldin.
The Brooklyn fighter, who competed at welterweight and junior welterweight and won six world titles there, acknowledges that his recuperation is a daily process but that his business endeavors and wife Christina’s encouragement have given him new life.
When asked about the fight between Mike and Jake, Judah said, “I personally believe that Mike Tyson—the beast, the lion—is going to come up.”
That is unsettling. Mike is going to be Mike if he decides to take on this fight, and he obviously knows exactly what he’s doing.
Tyson’s most recent on-screen battle with Roy Jones Jr. drew criticism from fans who called it a staged sparring match.
Judah believes the rumble in July will be unique. Nope. Really, Mike, I don’t understand it. Once Mike enters the ring,. He gave me his business. Consequently, Jake Paul would have an issue if he accepted the Jake Paul challenge.
Mike, who turns 58 in June, will not back down, he continued, intending to end the fight before the full twelve rounds.
From a fighter’s perspective, I can tell you that he has excelled in everything he has attempted. He has a wonderful gift. He assumed full responsibility and control over his entire body. Thus, even at 58 years old, he still feels the need to pursue it.
You understand what I mean. Hey, listen, here’s the thing with The Champ: he will go for the largest and the best if he decides to do it.
When asked if he anticipates a knockout at the Charmaine Blake Oscar viewing dinner on Oscar night, Judah said, “Of course, Tyson.” I don’t believe Jake can defeat Tyson. Not in a manner. Naturally, I’ll stake some cash on it.
Christina, his wife, continued, “I think this is going to be his last battle. We had heard that it was set up last year.” Thus, I think he’s going to go out big if he is leaving. Yes. Jake won’t be able to comprehend who he is competing against, in my opinion.”
Paul and Tyson are friends; they both acknowledged it, but Judah cautioned, saying, “Remember the rules.” There are no buddies in the ring, according to Mike. That was said by him. You are aware of his words:
