After footage of the former champion appeared online recently, some fans have been questioning whether Mike Tyson should be fighting at all. Tyson is making an incredible comeback to boxing at the age of 57 to take on Jake Paul.
On July 20, 2024, Tyson will make his comeback when he fights Paul at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The fight, which might be worth over $100 million, will take place in front of 80,000 spectators.
The former heavyweight champion last engaged in professional combat in 2005, and he hasn’t been in the ring since defeating Roy Jones Jr. at the Staples Center in November 2020.
Given that he is approaching his 60th birthday, it would not be shocking if he were somewhat overweight. After a video of Tyler at a UFC event surfaced on social media, some fans felt that he was not benefiting from his return to boxing.

“Mike Tyson will soon turn 60. I understand that a large number of people will watch. However, as an avid lover of fighting, I think it’s really unfortunate.”
In response, Tyler shared a video of himself in training, and it’s safe to say that after being tested, he looks good.
