Good News: for mike Tyson…………

Mike Tyson is ‘doing great’ after health scare on flight.

Mike Tyson is “doing fantastic” after a reported health concern aboard a flight from Miami to Los Angeles on Sunday.

Tyson, who will meet Jake Paul in a boxing match on July 20, had a medical condition that necessitated paramedics to enter the plane and aid upon landing, according to In Touch Weekly.

Leeds, England — Jack Catterall gained his long-awaited retribution, defeating Josh Taylor by unanimous decision in their junior welterweight rematch in Leeds on Saturday night.

Catterall was victorious after losing the first battle in controversial circumstances in February 2022 in Scotland, however the outcome divided opinion once more.

The battle certainly lived up to expectations, with spectators treated to 12 rounds of relentless action to compensate for the two-year gap between the original and the rematch.

Catterall, on the other hand, received a 117-111 from two judges and a 116-113 from one.

“Listen, I believe I won the battle,” Catterall stated on the ring afterwards. “This time, I took bigger risks. Josh is an outstanding operator and undisputed world champion. We knew we were up against it, but I felt like I was moving through the gears.

“I boxed smart, and even in the second half of the battle, when I was more cautious, I controlled the tempo, wasn’t getting hit with heavy punches, and landed cleanly.

It was a fight of two halves, but I still believe I won the second part of the fight, specifically the rounds I won.

However, while the judges deemed it decisive, disagreement erupted around the ring following the fight. Top Rank promoter Bob Arum called the cards a disgrace, while Matchroom’s Eddie Hearn admitted he suspected the scores were off.

I saw the fight like everyone else, and those scorecards were a disgrace, Arum stated. “I feel very sad for Josh. I think he won the fight, and I would never let an American fighter come here with a British board scoring it. Those scores were outrageous.

Taylor, too, stated that he believed he had won, implying that the controversy surrounding the initial outing may have influenced the judges’ thoughts.

“Listen, I thought that was a tremendous battle, and fair play to Jack,” Taylor added. “He had a better fight tonight. It was a better fight than the first one. It was fantastic. But, listen, I thought I had just nicked it.

It was a close contest. However, given the controversy surrounding the first fight, I believe that played into the judge’s hands.

Catterall got the better of the initial exchanges, finishing the first two rounds calmly, but Taylor appeared more sharper than he did two years ago in Glasgow.

Taylor had a head clash in the first few seconds of the third, but it didn’t seem to bother him as he charged back, rocking Catterall at one point as the tension and atmosphere increased.

Catterall, as in the first bout, used his jab brilliantly, peppering Taylor every time he came forward and executing some terrific combinations. He appeared to have the upper hand, but the Scot refused to give up, hitting his own fair number of strikes.

Neither man took a step back during the heated fight. Instead of having time to recover after each shot, they simply looked into their opponent’s eyes and moved forward.

Taylor caught a second wind and landed the better shots in Rounds 8 and 9, using both raw brutality and his exceptional ability to turn the momentum.
